Founded by Albert Mateu and Vincent Debonne, Optima is an independent studio or perhaps a quiet atelier. No walls, no borders. Just two architects, working between Madrid and Toulouse, composing images with the precision of designers and the restraint of painters.

Our journey has taken us through major studios and global projects. But what we seek today is different. Less polish. More presence.
We are not here to impress. We are here to reveal what a space carries, before it is built. A tension. A silence. A light.
We work with those who see imagery not as ornament, but as part of the thinking.
